NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATIONS

Neuropsychological testing uses standardized assessments, interviews, and records review to provide understanding of diagnosis and severity for patients with neurocognitive deficits that affect:  memory, attention, language, visual-spatial, executive functioning, and interpersonal function and personality.

Common Neuropsychology referrals:
    * Head Injury  or  Concussions
    * ADHD  or  Learning Disabilities
    * Autism-spectrum disorders
    * In-Utero Drug Exposure
    * Substance Abuse
    * Dementia

CAREER and VOCATIONAL TESTING

Finding a Career Path can be difficult. Testing can give insight into interests, preferences, and personal styles, as well as cognitive strengths.  Recommendations will identify education, jobs, internships, and activities that are a good match.

We use the industry standards for Career and Vocational Evaluation including the:
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and
Strong Interest Inventory and others.

FORENSIC EVALUATIONS or IME

An IME is requested to determine the presence (or absence) of neurocogitive and/or psychiatric symptoms and to assess their relationship to a specific event, accident, or injury. It is used to assist with treatment planning and to determine damages in an Injury law suit.

Other Forensic Evaluations are completed for expert testimony or recommendations on the psycho-legal implications of Competency Hearings, Custody Evaluations, or Disability Evaluations.
